Wow - what a summer it’s been! We’ve had a fantastic time meeting enthusiasts at shows all across the country - and show season is not over yet…
We’ve been to so many great events this summer - here are just a few of our highlights…
April saw us head to the British Motor Museum for the culmination of 2019’s Classic Car Loan Project.
This year’s ‘borrowers’ were handed the keys to the classics they’ve been loaned for 12 months. Now in its third year and gathering momentum, the project, which we’ve supported from the start, saw ten classics loaned out to a group of new enthusiasts for the year. See how they’re getting on here.
A ‘Slippery Sam’ replica of the iconic Triumph T150 motorcycle, owned by John Abram of John’s Motorcycle News, drew the crowds to our International Classic Motorcycle Showstand, along with a 1927 Sunbeam Longstroke belonging to our PJI AdStar competition winner Alan East-Jones.
Friends of Atwell Wilson
It was a pleasure to return to the Friends of Atwell Wilson Annual Classic Vehicle Show in July and also to support Silverstone Auctions at their Silverstone Classic Sale – with a overall sales rate of 74% classic cars sold (excluding competition cars) and 6.4 million of overall sales recorded.
