What age do scooters become a classic?
We define a classic scooter as being more than 20 years old.
What is agreed value?
In the event there is a total loss claim, agreed value is the amount that will be paid (after a policy excess). At Peter James Insurance, we offer free agreed value with all policies as standard.
What is the difference between insurance for my modern scooter and classic scooter insurance?
Typically, classic scooters are used less than modern ones e.g. for enjoyment rather than for commuting purposes. With lower mileage, a classic scooter policy is often cheaper than a standard insurance policy and comes with features suitable for classic use.
Can I carry passengers?
Yes, cover for a pillion is included as standard.
