In the 1950s, a bet between two students turned into a record-breaking quest. Students from both Cambridge and Oxford contacted Land Rover with what seemed to be a crazy idea. The proposal; driving from London to Singapore, a total of 16,000 miles. To their luck, they were provided two Series I vehicles and were filmed by the BBC which made history for them as well as Land Rover.

Yes, we do, simply let us know the value you’d like to agree when you speak to our team. It must be reasonable, and we won’t agree to an unprecedented value on a car unless it’s really special and you can explain why. Alternatively, we can work with an agreed value supplied to us, for example by a classic car club that you’re a member of.

Do you offer laid-up cover?

Yes. Our laid–up cover accounts for the change in risk for a car that is to be laid up for a long time. For example, if you are now planning an extended period of storage or even a major restoration that might take you the best part of a year. Laid up cover can save you some money whilst also ensuring the car is fully protected and covered while the work or storage continues.
