We are delighted to announce a new and improved product for our exclusive partnership with the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, following our launch of a new insurance proposition for classic car and bike clubs and their members earlier this year.
We’re well known for the provision of specialist classic and vintage motorcycle insurance and have been at the heart of the historic bike community for many years.
This close relationship gives us a thorough understanding of the importance of clubs that form the backbone of the community. We also understand how crucial it is for those clubs to ensure they are offering exclusive benefits to their members to add value to the annual subscription.
As one of the largest classic motorcycle clubs in the world, the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, with over 13,000 members, is united by a common appreciation of the engineering skills and vision of those who built the pioneer machines. The club ensures that such machines are not preserved just as museum exhibits but are brought to life on frequent occasions; enabling the older generation to view with nostalgia the machines they rode (and are still riding!) and to encourage a new generation of enthusiasm for vintage motorcycling.
The new and improved product ‘VMCC Motorcycle Insurance’ replaces ‘VMCC Club Cover’ which was introduced in 2021 and has been designed exclusively for VMCC members by partnership working between Peter James and the Club. The new product gives their members access to a range of new benefits that they are unable to find elsewhere – ensuring true value for the club members that use the scheme. These can include:*
- Insurance solutions for younger club members – either as younger motorcycle owners or as additional riders on their parents’ bike(s)
- Member to member cover – club members are covered to drive each other’s vintage and classic motorcycles completely free of charge
- Self-repair – the option to receive an equivalent cash settlement
- Cover for club organised track events
