Supporting Young Drivers
Now, through the new and exclusive scheme, members of the Morris Minor Owners Club Young Member’s section can access fully comprehensive insurance on their Morris Minor. This is a significant benefit over most other specialist insurers, who often set an age limit of 25 or 30 for classic car insurance.
Recognising that many young enthusiasts are keen to be involved but may not yet own an Morris Minor, we have designed an option for ‘Accompanied Driver Cover’ where they can drive an Morris Minor with a parent or grandparent alongside them for a modest additional premium.

Celebrate the launch at the 2025 Classic Motor Show
Whilst available today, the ‘Morris Minor Owners Club Insurance’ scheme is to be formally launched the 2025 NEC Classic Motor Show, at 13:00 on Friday, 7th November, in Hall 5, Stand 440. Morris Minor enthusiasts will hear more details on the scheme’s benefits and be able to chat with Dave Youngs, Head of Classics at Peter James Insurance. The club stand will also feature several vehicles from the club’s dual-personality register.
