Peter James Insurance announce new exclusive partnership with the Royal Enfield Owners Club

2 September 2024

We are delighted to announce a new, exclusive partnership with the Royal Enfield Owners Club, where we will provide a new scheme ‘Royal Enfield Owners Club Insurance’ to members of the club.

Established in 1977, the Royal Enfield Owners Club is for enthusiasts and owners of Royal Enfields from the vintage bikes of the 1920s to the present-day modern models. With branches throughout the United Kingdom, the club runs and attends events, holds archive material and publishes ‘The Gun’ – a bi-monthly magazine for members.

The new scheme has been designed with input from club management and members, giving them policy benefits that support their ongoing enjoyment of Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Club members will now be able to benefit from: *

  • Exclusive rates for club members
  • Cover for classic Royal Enfields and modern Royal Enfield insurance
  • Member to member cover – ride another club member’s Royal Enfield with fully comprehensive cover (regardless of who they are insured with)
  • Free agreed value
  • Free salvage retention
  • UK & EU breakdown cover
  • Tools and spare parts cover (up to £3000)
  • Free Helmet and Leathers cover
  • Self-repair option
  • Multi-vehicle options – a single policy providing bike collection insurance
  • Limited mileage discounts
  • Legal expenses cover

We have been at the heart of the classic motorcycling community for decades and are committed to supporting the future of the classic bike movement by working with organisations like the Royal Enfield Owners Club.

Dave Youngs, Partnerships Director at Peter James Insurance commented:
“Peter James has been at the heart of the historic motorcycle movement throughout our history, so it is fantastic to be able to partner with the Royal Enfield Owners Club. As a club with a continuity of marque, we have collaborated closely to create an insurance product that delivers for these specialist vehicles whether it’s preserving the vintage versions from the 1920s and 1930s or supporting the enthusiasm of riders of the modern models.”
