We’re delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with the Triumph Sports Six Club to provide a new insurance scheme exclusive to TSSC members.
The new scheme arrives just as the community of Triumph enthusiasts that make up the extremely active membership of the TSSC, embark upon a year-long celebration of the Triumph motor car’s centenary.
Continuing our development of new, club focused insurance initiatives, the new exclusive partnership will deliver an insurance offering specifically designed with the needs of TSSC club members in mind, with input from the club’s management throughout. Whilst the club is celebrating Triumph’s amazing past in this centenary year, this new TSSC Insurance scheme will help to ensure members’ Triumphs remain on the road for many years to come.
Our new and exclusive partnership with the Triumph Sports Six Club (TSSC) was unveiled at the recent Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show, held at the NEC in March 2023. A champagne reception was held for TSSC members and Triumph owners were able to chat informally with Dave Youngs, Partnerships Director at Peter James Insurance, who will manage the scheme for the club and Head of Classic for Peter James Insurance, Garry Carlin.
We’re well known for our provision of specialist classic and vintage vehicle insurance and have been at the heart of the historic vehicle community for many years. This close relationship gives us a thorough understanding of the importance of the membership-based organisations that form the backbone of the historic vehicle community. We also understand how crucial it is for clubs like the TSSC, to ensure their activities and members’ needs are well funded to offer exclusive membership benefits that add value to their annual subscription.
Founded in 1977, the Triumph Sports Six Club traditionally catered for Herald and Spitfire based vehicles including the Herald, Spitfire, Vitesse, GT6, Bond Equipe and Specials based on the mother chassis or mechanicals. But since 2002, has welcomed all Standard Triumph vehicles and their derivatives. Based at its own Leicestershire Headquarters and museum the TSSC aims to provide all Triumph enthusiasts with a membership service that meets any requirement asked of it by its members.
