Riley’s story began not with cars, but with bicycles. During the pedal cycle craze that swept Britain in the late 19th century, the Riley family transformed their bicycle business into a successful automotive enterprise. The 1926 Technological Advancement

The Riley 9 wasn’t just another car of the 1920s. When it launched in 1926, it’s engine design was so innovative it became the benchmark for performance and engineering excellence. With technology far ahead of it’s time, this cemented Riley’s reputation as a pioneer of British automotive engineering.

The Day Riley Made Le Mans History

At the 1934 Le Mans 24 Hours, Riley made history when all six of its entered cars crossed the finish line, the first time a single manufacturer had achieved the feat. It was the ultimate proof that Riley’s winning formula combined speed, endurance and reliability.

Yes we do, simply let us know the value you’d like to agree when you speak to our team. It must be reasonable, and we won’t agree to an unprecedented value on a car unless it’s really special and you can explain why. Alternatively, we can work with an agreed value supplied to us, for example by a classic car club that you’re a member of.

Do you offer laid-up cover?

Yes. Our laid–up cover accounts for the change in risk for a car that is to be laid up for a long time. For example, if you are now planning an extended period of storage or even a major restoration that might take you the best part of a year. Laid up cover can save you some money whilst also ensuring the car is fully protected and covered while the work or storage continues.
