Supporting Young Riders
We know that insurance can often be a barrier to young people being able to own or enjoy classic vehicles, so we have developed two insurance products specifically targeted at young riders, available only through active membership with the Vintage Motor Cycle Club.
We are able to arrange cover for:
- Younger owners of a classic motorcycle
- Young enthusiasts as an additional riderson their parents’ bike(s)

How does the scheme work?
As specialists in classic bike insurance, we have developed a product exclusively for the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. As a member, you’re able to access an exclusive rate on your bike cover and have peace of mind that you’re speaking to a team who understand the needs of classic motorbike owners.
How do I get my discount?
As long as you quote your club membership number, your discount will automatically be applied to the quote you receive.
So, if you’re speaking to a member of our team – they’ll give you the price with the discount included, and it’s the same with our Quick Quote System. The price you see will have the discount already applied (you will need to confirm your club membership number during the purchase process).

What if I’m not a member?
In order to be eligible for the club member discount on your insurance, you do need to be a member prior to joining. Find out more about joining here.
What does active membership for young members mean?
In order to be eligible for the Young Rider insurance product, you must be an active member of the club (either through your own membership or a family membership). This means regularly attending club events and engaging with club content.
